Oncologist and surgeon Ivan Karasev, in his Telegram channel, drew attention to the importance of micronutrients for human health. He noted that the majority of micronutrients enter the body through food. However, some products can lead to serious illnesses.

According to the World Health Organization, nutrition plays a key role in our health. Karasev highlighted carcinogenic products that can increase the risk of oncological diseases with regular consumption. These include foods high in sugar, processed foods, alcohol, and animal fats.

The doctor also pointed out foods that can reduce the risk of developing cancer: vegetables and fruits. They are rich in antioxidants, flavonoids, carotenes, and anti-inflammatory substances.

To maintain good health, it is recommended to include whole grain products, unsaturated fats such as olive and flaxseed oils, nuts, avocados, and easily digestible proteins such as poultry, rabbit, and seafood in your diet, Karasev advised.

He also urged Russians to consume sprouted grains.
