This summer, Sochi will welcome the opening of eight new hotels. The largest among them is a four-star hotel with 98 rooms, located on the first shoreline and featuring a gated area with an open heated pool, as announced by the press service of the city resort administration.

The announcement notes that this building meets all international standards and complies with the modern requirements of four-star business hotels.

In the upcoming resort season, Sochi will offer over 2,300 facilities for short-term accommodation, including 57 sanatoriums and boarding houses, 136 large hotel complexes and recreation centers, 5 children’s health camps, as well as over 2,100 small hotels, guest houses, glamping sites, and other individual accommodation options.

Many hotels and sanatoriums have undergone extensive renovations of their room stock and medical facilities.

The number of beaches in Sochi awarded the “Blue Flag” according to the national quality standard has increased by 17% and reached 41.

In the new season, new recreation areas will be opened on the beaches of “Ostrov,” “Zvezdny,” “Zhemchuzhina Sochi,” and “Kasablanka,” where natural materials were used for landscaping. There, pools, volleyball courts, and workout areas will be equipped.

Sochi remains one of the most popular resorts in Russia. In 2023, the city was visited by 7.6 million tourists — the highest figure in the last 100 years. By 2030, the number of travelers is expected to reach 10 million.
