Russian tour operators are working on developing children’s tourism. They intend to send children from Russia to China and host groups of Chinese children in Russia.

This was reported by the Russian Union of Travel Industry. Employees of the organization visited China and took part in a forum for children’s camps. RSUTI representative Tatiana Ivanova shared her impressions of this trip. She said that in China, people are very friendly towards Russians. After inspecting several children’s camps, it was found that they have their own specifics and are geared towards Chinese children. To accommodate children’s groups from Russia, changes will need to be made to the operation of Chinese camps to meet Russian standards.

Preparations are also underway to host Chinese children in Russia. The “Orlyonok” children’s center plans to organize an exchange with China for groups of schoolchildren in the summer of 2024. The Moscow Region camp “Robin Hood” is ready to host 12 children from China, Mongolia, and Uzbekistan.

According to the deputy general director of the company “A-Tour” Ivan Ryabinin, contracts have already been signed with Chinese partners. Groups of Russian children will travel to China for 10-14 days. They will relax and study the Chinese language.
