In 2023, the trade turnover between Russia and India reached a record-breaking $65 billion, marking a 1.8-fold increase in just one year. This achievement positioned Russia as the fourth-largest trading partner for India. The import of Russian goods to India surged by 1.8 times, reaching $60.1 billion. Consequently, Russia has become the second-largest supplier of goods to India, following China.
Simultaneously, the export of Indian goods also increased by 1.4 times, reaching $4 billion. Russia climbed seven positions to become the 13th largest destination for Indian exports.
