Progress MS-25 docked to the ISS

The Progress MS-25 cargo ship successfully docked with the Russian Poisk module of the International Space Station, Roscosmos reports.

The spacecraft’s flight began on December 1 from the Baikonur Cosmodrome. 9 minutes after launch, it entered low-Earth orbit. Progress will be in orbit for 179 days. It delivered more than 2.5 tons of cargo to the ISS, including fuel, drinking water, nitrogen, food and medical supplies.

The ship also delivered equipment for scientific experiments, including an incubator for studying the development of embryonic quail eggs in space and equipment for corrosion studies. This ship became the fourth truck sent by Russia to the ISS this year. The station currently employs astronauts from Russia, USA, the European Space Agency and the Japanese Aerospace Agency.
