The Famous Mobile Exhibition Embarks on a Journey Across the Country

The “Victory Train” has arrived in the Northern capital. Vice-Governor of the city, Boris Piotrovsky, announced this in his Telegram channel.

The mobile exhibition will stay at the Novy Petergof station until February 22, after which it will embark on a long journey across the entire country. Twelve thematic zones, dedicated to key events of the Great Patriotic War, are accommodated in the train’s 12 cars.

A year ago, we already covered this project. Since then, the mobile museum has been supplemented with a new car dedicated to military tribunals. The interactive exhibition features realistic models of people, including figures of real fascist criminals modeled from photographs. Sculptors strived to accurately recreate the poses and emotions of the accused at the Nuremberg, Tokyo, and Khabarovsk trials. The atmosphere of historical reality is conveyed through augmented reality, surround sound, and theatrical lighting.

It’s worth noting that visiting the “Victory Train” is free but requires prior registration on the exhibition’s website. Registration opens 24 hours before the train’s arrival, and the number of tickets is limited. Additionally, the exhibits can be explored through a 3D tour available on the website.
