In China, a large leopard family of Russian origin has been discovered. The core population of the Far Eastern leopards is preserved in the Russian national park “Land of the Leopard” in the Primorsky Krai, which has successfully been saving this species from extinction for many years. The park’s territory, extending for 280 km, borders China, and the feline residents took advantage of this.
A photograph of the spotted family was taken in the Northeast Tiger and Leopard National Park in China. Scientists from the “Land of the Leopard” National Park managed to identify the individual as a multi-child mother originally from Russia – Leo 95F.
Wild animals are oblivious to state borders, and with the increasing leopard population, they find new habitats.
