Animal Trails to be Established in the Forests of Chelyabinsk Region
Due to heavy snowfall in the Chelyabinsk region, authorities have decided to create special trails for animals in the forests. This information comes from the press service of the Ministry of Ecology of the region. Additionally, hay will be placed near these trails to ensure that all herbivorous forest inhabitants are well-fed.
In hunting grounds, this work will be organized by hunting leaseholders.
In January and February, the trails will be laid using snowmobiles. After the thaw sets in, heavy machinery will be employed for this task in the forest-steppe and steppe zones of the Chelyabinsk region.
It’s worth noting that in late December and early January, the region experienced heavy snowfall and blizzards. According to the information from the Taganay National Park, on January 11, the snow cover height in its territory reached 92 centimeters.
