During a meeting with President Vladimir Putin and the government, the head of Rosmolodezh, Ksenia Razuvayeva, announced that the World Youth Festival will be held in Russia every 6 years.
According to her, international sessions of federal youth educational summer forums will be open to foreigners, and all 16 youth centers of Rosmolodezh will launch programs aimed at education, including for foreign citizens.
The first World Youth Festival took place at the federal territory of Sirius from March 1 to 7, 2024. The festival was attended by over 20,000 participants from 190 countries: 10,000 came from Russia and the same number from other countries.
It is worth recalling that a year ago, the head of the state signed a decree on holding the World Youth Festival, aimed at developing international youth cooperation.
The program of the first World Youth Festival was built on unwavering values - unity, equality, justice, as well as mercy, mutual assistance, and teamwork.
Participants of the festival could voice their opinions and hear the positions of other young people who came from Russian cities and abroad. Organizers of the festival paid great attention to sports and cultural life. The achievements of Russia in the field of youth development were also demonstrated.
